The official background images that Microsoft bundles with various versions of Windows are a usually amazing, and these Windows 10 build 9901 wallpapers carry on the tradition.
Although this is a leaked build, the software titan had bundled in a few new wallpapers.
Probably paving the road for the Consumer Preview release of the operating system, which by most estimates is set for early next year. Next month, even. Anyway, a total of five new background images are included in build 9901.
These can all be accessed via the personalization screen — the usual place.
Interestingly, while one of the five included wallpapers is designed for multiple monitor configurations, these aren’t high resolution images and pretty much scale up on the desktop to fit the screen. Perplexing, but hey, can’t complain.

They capture some amazing scenes, particularly the mountain photography in a couple of these images is absolutely breathtaking. Hopefully, these are included in the final version of the operating system in higher resolutions.
But we can be sure that Windows 10 will come with a bunch of great wallpapers when it arrives next year, just like it happened with previous versions of the operating system.
